In the last one month, problems of pneumonia and asthma patients along with cold and cough have increased in Mainpuri. Patients suffering from asthma and pneumonia are also dying continuously. On Monday, three patients resident of different areas of the district died. One of them was admitted in the district hospital itself. Two people, including a child, were brought to the hospital in a dead state.
On Monday, a crowd of patients was seen in Maharaja Tej Singh District Hospital since morning. First aid was given to 569 patients in the OPD of the hospital. Among these, the number of patients suffering from cold, pneumonia and asthma was high. The one month old child of Sunita Devi, resident of Ganeshpur village near the city, was suffering from pneumonia for the last few days. The family members were getting him treated at a private doctor. When his condition worsened, his family took him to the district hospital on Sunday night, where doctors declared him dead.
64-year-old Kedarnath, a resident of Raja Ka Bagh Mohalla of the city, was having trouble breathing for the last few days. The family members were getting him treated at a private doctor. On Sunday, his family admitted him to the district hospital, where he died during treatment on Monday morning. CMS Dr. Madanlal said that two patients were brought dead, one died during treatment.
